Is the farm wheelchair accessible?

We've had many wheelchair users visit. Preferred parking and a port-a-john are available on-site. While some paths may be narrow, there's plenty of accessibility to enjoy the tulips. Keep in mind that the ground can be uneven and muddy if it's wet, which could present a challenge for those who are up for it!

Are strollers allowed?

Yes, strollers are allowed, but maneuvering between rows may be cumbersome. We recommend using a carrier or backpack if you have one!

Is parking free?

Yes, free on-site parking is available, including spaces for handicapped and bus access.

Tulips

Can we pull up the bulb along with the flower?

No, picking or digging up the bulbs can be detrimental. The root system of the flower gets damaged, causing it perish as well as affecting nearby tulips. Additionally, picking the flower prevents the bulb from receiving the nutrients it needs to grow.

When will the tulips bloom and when are you opening?

We anticipate opening April 26th at 1:00pm and will remain open until the tulips are finished blooming. For field updates, please check our social media @tascgrowtogether. We'll closely monitor the blooms and keep you informed.

When is the best time to visit the tulip pick farm?

Weekdays offer a more serene atmosphere, making it worth considering to take a day off from work.  Remember, tulips are in season for a short time each year, and each week highlights a different aspect of their beauty:

Week 1: Tulips with the Longest Lifespan
Week 2: Tulips in the Most Vibrant Colors
Week 3: Tulips with the Most Unique Blooms

Can I purchase additional tulips

Absolutely! You can purchase additional tulips. Each ticket includes 10 tulips. If you'd like more, they’re available for $1 per tulip, plus tax. Enjoy picking!

When will the tulips be in full bloom?

Typically, the end of the first week marks the peak bloom for most tulips. However, we plant a mix of early, mid, and late-blooming varieties, so you’ll enjoy a stunning display of vibrant colors throughout the entire blooming season.

What happens to the old tulip bulbs at the end of the season?

At the end of the season, we remove the old bulbs from the field and replant with fresh ones each year to maintain consistent size and top-quality tulips.

Where do you acquire your tulip bulbs?

We source our tulip bulbs from trusted farmers in Holland, with whom we've had a long-standing partnership. This ensures we get top-quality bulbs for our fields every year.

How long should we expect to visit?

Most visitors spend about 1-2 hours exploring and strolling through the fields. With so much to see and acres to roam, you might want to allow more time if you’re planning to picnic or take lots of photos. You're welcome to stay through closing time.

Absolutely! We’d love to have your class visit our farm. If you plan your trip on a weekday, we can also offer a guided tour, sharing information about planting, harvesting, and the history of the farm.
