Start seeds indoors 8-weeks prior to nightly temperatures of 13°C in early spring. Once seedlings have 6 true leaves, transplant them into rich soil, 30-inches (76 cm) apart. Harvest the peppers when they attain full size and develop a glossy dark green color. They also thrive as companions to eggplant, onions, and tomatoes.
