Cilantro – Santo
- Cilantro is a strong growing annual plant with attractive flat leaves. Like all flat leaved varieties they have a stronger flavour than the curled leaved varieties.
- The strong sweet flavour is indispensable for a wide range of cooked and salad dishes or can be used as garnish on plates.
- Cut back the leaves when they turn yellow to encourage new growth and feed with an all-purpose fertilizer.
- Leaves are best when harvested early in the morning and eaten while still fresh, although they can be frozen.
