The award-winning Narcissus Double Cheerfulness brings a romantic aura to your spring garden with petals of creamy white and doubled, rose-like centers that are a ruffled mix of gentle yellow. Each stem boasts clusters of three-to-four small flowers with a sweet, musky fragrance reminiscent of a Gardenia. These late blooming Daffodils are terrific naturalizers and will thrive and multiply, with little care, year after year. They are perfect for spreading joy in garden beds, boarders and containers and are a perfect complement to many Tulip varieties.

Care

Planting
- Plant these bulbs in fall.
- If you cannot plant your bulbs right away store them in a cool, dry, dark location, like a basement.
- Plant them with the pointy end up in a sunny to semi-shaded area about 15 cm (6 in) deep and 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 in) apart.
- Water thoroughly after planting.
Growing
- These bulbs do best in well-drained soil.
- These bulbs are suitable for almost every possible application: fields, beds, containers, borders, rock gardens, as cut flowers and for forcing.
- These bulbs look good planted in groups at the base of trees or in wooded areas.
- Plant in groups of eight or more bulbs which then appear more natural.
Taking Care
- These bulbs are deer resistant and work great in areas where deer or rodents are a problem.
- Fertilize just before they start blooming.
- Remove the flowers when they are spent. Otherwise, the plant will divert energy from building up the bulb, which is necessary for next year’s display.

Winterizing
- After flowering, the leaves should be allowed to die down. The leaves will gather sunlight and provide nourishment for next year’s show.
- These bulbs come back for several years.
