YOUR ROLE

To support further growth and professionalization, we are looking for a solid Supply Chain Planner. Data and information are at the heart of our business. From our Holland Office in Rijnsburg, The Netherlands you will be part of a driven and enthusiastic small Supply Chain team. From this location we plan the raw materials purchasing from Europe and the Far East is planned as well as the outsourced production with external parties in the Netherlands. In addition, shipments of purchased materials and manufactured items are managed. The team takes care of all container planning and deliveries to TASC’s production locations in the Netherlands, the United States and Canada, delivery to cross-docking locations and direct deliveries to our customers’ DC’s. Processing logistics/product data in the ERP system is critical in order to ensure efficient and zero-error delivery to our customers. You will report to the Operations Manager Netherlands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. PRODUCTION PLANNING: In accordance with customer demand and taking into account the desired delivery time, production and delivery schedules are drawn up for our products from the Netherlands that contribute to a timely and efficient delivery to our customers.

2. MATERIAL PLANNING: In accordance with the production plan and in coordination with Purchasing and Sales, ensure that materials are available on time. Ensuring the correctness (qualitative & quantitative) and timeliness of deliveries by building relationships with suppliers. Managing the stock of materials at various locations in the Netherlands.

3. PRODUCTS FOR RESALE: Ensuring availability of merchandise supplied by 3rd parties.

4. DISTRIBUTION PLANNING: Managing the distribution of materials from the central delivery location to our production locations in the US and Canada.

5. DATA MANAGEMENT: Setting up master data and bill of materials in the ERP system and generating purchase and production orders with the correct parameters in accordance with the Master Production & Distribution Plan.

YOUR PROFILE

Characteristics of a strong candidate:

• Has a clear understanding of Supply Chain Management, preferable a Bachelor’s degree in SCM or a related field;
• A proven track record within similar organizations and/or activities; minimum 5 years work experience;
• Power-user of Excel;
• Experience using an ERP system is an asset, preferably Dynamics 365 Business Central;
• Down to earth and has personality;
• Precise and accurate;
• Ability to work under pressure and the ability to work with tight deadlines;
• Logical problem solver. Sees how many different pieces of a puzzle come together;
• Communicates ideas and can take them from idea to reality quickly;
• Proficient in Dutch and English.
